Do you have the time and knowledge to make going FSBO a reasonable choice, and in your haste are you ready to put your family at risk by opening your doors to complete strangers? If you decide to go with an agent, do you just take the first name you come to, or hire a friends relative who just last week got their license.

Both choices here have risk involved for the homeowner, so how do you make the right decision? The most important part of either of these choices is in any case to consult an attorney who has had more than a glance of real estate law in their background.
